Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Qansero ("we," "us") collects through qansero.com, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. Qansero is based in the United States.

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to run this website and respond to you.

When you request an audit or contact us. Through our inquiry form we collect your name, email address, store website (optional), the service you're interested in and your message.

When you sign up for resource updates. If you join the waiting list for our free course or request Technical SEO Checklist updates, we collect your email address, which resource you requested, and your agreement to receive an email about it.

When you sign in. If you have an account for our course classroom or admin area, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you visit the site. Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use this for security, for example to limit repeated login attempts and to block abusive form submissions.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary session cookie, and only when you sign in. It keeps you signed in and protects your account. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't currently use any third-party analytics or tracking tools.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and arrange a call
  • Send you the email you asked for when you joined a waiting list
  • Provide access to the course classroom or admin area
  • Keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the website. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services:

  • Replit hosts the website.
  • Google (Gmail) delivers an email notification to us when you submit our inquiry form, containing the details you entered.
  • Neon provides the database (PostgreSQL) where form submissions, waiting list entries and accounts are stored.
  • Google Fonts delivers the fonts used on the site. When your browser loads a font, Google receives your IP address.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above:

  • Inquiry details are kept while we're discussing or providing services, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records.
  • Waiting list entries are kept until the list is no longer needed, or until you ask us to remove you.
  • Account information is kept while your account is active.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, US state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), may give you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell or share personal information, but you can still contact us with any request.
  • Not be treated differently for exercising these rights

To make a request, use our contact form and tell us what you'd like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also ask to be removed from any waiting list at any time the same way.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, limits on login attempts and restricted access to stored data. No website can be completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or services change, for example if we add analytics. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
